These terms and conditions are for short stays only. Stays of four weeks or more will be required to sign a contract - available on request.
1. Payment of the holiday accommodation rental fee constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. In the event of a cancellation by the client, the deposit is non-refundable, unless the property is re-let for the entire period of the cancellation. 50% of the deposit will constitute a cancellation fee which will then apply. If the client has paid in full, this amount is non-refundable, unless the cottage is re-let for the entire period of the cancellation. 50% of the deposit will constitute the cancellation fee which will apply.
3. The operators will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However, the operators reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
4. To secure your holiday booking, a deposit of 50% is required to be paid within 7 days of booking. Payment may be made by cheque, money order, Bankcard, MasterCard or VISA.
5. Information on access to keys will be made available once a deposit has been secured.
6. All premises are to be left in a satisfactory clean and tidy state. In the event of excessive cleaning requirements, an extra cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account.
7. Pets are not allowed at PAPAROA.
8. Linen is included. Towels, sheets, blankets & doonas are supplied for up to 5 guests. Extra linen can be hired on request.
9. Smoking is not permitted inside PAPAROA.
10. Any damage, breakage or loss of furniture, furnishings, equipment, locks or keys is to be reported immediately and paid for at cost, other then acceptable wear and tear. Please note, that our cleaners do a detailed inventory check both before and after your occupation.
11. The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice.
12. The operators take no responsibility for the client’s personal property left on the premises.
13. Check-out time is 10.00am. Check-in time is 2.00pm. The client must vacate the property by the check-out time unless agreed with the operators in advance that they may stay longer. Without prior agreement, additional late departure fees will apply at the nightly rate.
14. The client making the booking must be 18 years or over and agree to take full responsibility for the temporary rental of the property.
15. If full payment or a credit card number is not received at check-out time then a $50 administrative fee will be incurred. Payment terms in regards to late fees are listed on the invoice when issued, late fees will be charged at 5%.
